Welcome to Isle of Wight Community Club

Gurnard Youth FC is a grassroots football club on the Isle of Wight, proudly marking its 50th anniversary this year.

We are committed to making football inclusive and accessible for all, welcoming players of any ability without trials and keeping fees affordable. Our mission is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment where everyone can develop skills, build friendships, and love the game—whether new, returning, or aiming for higher competition.

Each team and coach tailors their approach to fit varying ages and league levels, with coaches shaping their own team philosophies. We focus on developing our players both as athletes and individuals in a supportive setting.

This season, we field 18 teams, from under-8s to U16’s squads, including mixed teams.

Beyond league matches, Gurnard Youth FC hosts one of the Isle of Wight’s biggest grassroots tournaments, last year drawing 120 teams and strengthening our community spirit.

We are proud of our club community and remain dedicated to growth, facility investment, and ensuring football is open to all at Gurnard Youth FC. Our commitment extends to organising community events and fundraisers, with our volunteers—many long-time members—playing a vital role in our ongoing success.
