Dear Members, Sport Sections and Social Groups.

The Board, The Committee, The Club Secretary, Staff and volunteers have been working hard to improve our club for you.

We have been holding lots of various entertainments to raise money for club projects. Most events have proved to be popular and has led to increased membership. However we need Your Help to raise funds for our current project.

You may have noticed that our Lounge Chairs are in desperate need of re-upholstering. The average cost for this is £70 per chair depending on final fabric choice.

So we are asking all members, sections and social groups if you would be willing to make a donation towards this project. Or even sponsor a Chair (No !! Sorry you won’t get your name on it)

We have already had kind donations for the Chair Fund from The Tuesday Bridge Group has donated £400. The Thursday Bridge Group £200. The 40’s night raised £301.36. The Tuesday Tea dance Group and Line Dancers also are going to make a generous donation. We are hoping to raise enough to also re-cover the benches.

All members use the Lounge bar at times so this project will benefit you all.

Also the improvement will hopefully generate more business.

Donations can be made by Cash or Card payment at the Bar or by Bank transfer.
